Shawn was born in Minnesota and raised in the Midwest, the youngest child of five. He grew up in the church setting in an Alliance Pastor’s family, and personally came to fullness of faith at 16 years old when he surrendered total control of his life over to the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Shawn and his wife Liliana met in Ecuador while working together on a short-term missions team in 1999. Shawn & Lili were married in 2001 and have been in full-time pastoral ministry since 2005 and have three children, Anita, Abigail & Andrew. Pastor Shawn earned Bachelors of Science Degrees in Bible & Christian Ministry through Grace University in Omaha, NE in 2008, was licensed by the Alliance in 2014. The Dugans came to Millard Alliance in 2019 with experience in music ministry, small groups, community outreach, missions and teaching & preaching. Shawn was called as Senior Pastor of MAC January 01, 2020 and completed his ordination with the Alliance in 2020, and is a trained & certified Christian PreMarital Counselor with SYMBIS®.
