The Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA), or "The Alliance" is part of a Christ-centered global movement more than 6 million strong. We value gospel ministry for the entire family, and children are always welcome to remain in the 10:30 a.m. worship service. We provide children's materials for children who stay. We also recognize the desire of some families to have age-appropriate application of eternal truth in the lives of their children (see below).
Glow Children's Church is currently serving children 3-9 year olds during the 10:30 a.m. worship service, and we are currently praying to expand the ministry to serve ages 2-12.
This ministry for Students teens to twenties meets twice a month on Saturday evenings to Encounter God together through His word, worship and prayer, to Encourage one another in their walk of faith and to Engage the community with tangible expressions of Christ's love. More details HERE
We're a pretty informal family at MAC. On any given Sunday you'll find some people in jeans and casuals shirts and others who prefer business casual attire and still some who like a Sunday dress or suit and tie. We come together from all walks of life to worship and honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and we find the condition of our heart is far more important than the contents of our closet.
At Millard Alliance Church we strongly believe our God is worthy to be praised and honored and adored for who He is, and all He has done on our behalf, and all He has promised to do! Scripture shows us a picture of heaven:
"a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Rev 7:9-10)
We know that no one culture can adequately express the worship that our Lord is worthy of. For our part, we have a blended worship style of hymns and contemporary. Some weeks have more of one than the other, but join us for 3-4 weeks in a row, and you'll get a good sampling of the styles we utilize as we express our small portion of this great multitude here on earth.
The teaching style seeks to be engaging and interactive as we seek to apply God's truth to our everyday lives. And we frequently take time during the services to give testimony to what God is doing in our lives and to pray for one another.
